A Circle of Social Services Programs

The community schools program is a program that has its origins in the United Nations. As with all of these types of programs, they use hooks to draw people into the program.  One of these hooks is “Eliminating Barriers to Education”

The school’s function is to educate and is not the agency responsible for delivering social services programs.  If the school wasn’t funding a position that is focused on providing social services programs there would be more money to fund the required education programs.

Added 5/18/2024  A concern has been raised that there should be a clarification that the Community Schools program is grant funded this year and that school’s money was not used.  The grant is an implementation grant using taxpayer monies originating from the United States Department of Education and passed through the Idaho Coalition of Community Schools (ICCS).  The  ICCS is a self managed partners’ organization backboned by the United Way of Treasure Valley.  These are Non Government Organizations passing out taxpayer monies in furtherance of a government goal. The grant funded the implementation, which is how these programs become cemented into an institution.  Unless this is a grant in perpetuity, at some point the local taxpayers will become responsible for funding this program with “school money” if the school decides to continue the program.

The schools social services programs are way beyond passing out a dry pair of pants and maintaining a clothes closet.

What was intended to be a program where the community partners delivered the social services functions that would allow the parents to bring a child to school ready to learn has shifted to a tax base dependent program within the school system.

The government is slowly opening the door to socialism through this program.  The parents are turning over their parental rights to the schools and the government.

Do the taxpayers want to fund the school in order to promote the transformation from an educational institution to a community social services center?

The real goal of this program is to make the community dependent upon government for basic needs.

Each time you look to the government to fulfill one of these needs you are giving up your freedom.

Here is an article about how California is embracing the community schools program and how the schools will become the center for delivering social services at taxpayers expense under the umbrella of providing an education.

We are not California, but we are headed that way if we continue to buy into Community Schools.
